Basically all of the energy in the fitness market is going into these tracking devices right now, most of them will do just about anything short of making you coffee (I imagine that will come shortly). They’re kind of Skynet-like in that they share information with your phone, your computer, the cloud and your friends — if you want.
Some of them go on the wrist, others on the waist, some in pockets and some behind your ear. There are all sorts of ways to hook on and hook in. Flexibility comes in many varieties, and they really offer a whole lot of functionality. The question is: Do they fulfil the promises that the advertising makes? Some do a really food job. Others fall short.
